Christening Saying For A Cake

CPU and GPU Interaction Partners

We have heard about the new family of Intel Core processors include Intel HD Graphics now inside the processor, ie a GPU located in the same packaging CPU. The CPU, memory controller and the graphics processing capabilities provide new features interesting that improve system performance and reduce power usage, especially in mobile or portable systems.

Two of these new features include Intel Turbo Boost Technology and Intel HD Dynamic Frequency Graphics Technology. As we know, Intel Turbo Technology takes advantage of the power that is not used to increase the frequency of multi-core processor or single-core.

The family of Intel Core processors and Intel Core i5 i3 are the first mainstream processor package to meet both technologies, Intel Turbo Boost Technology with the new Intel HD Graphics Dynamic Frequency Technology, Intel Mobile Platforms are designed to maximize performance and minimize power usage for a specific budget around a form factor. With the combination of Intel Turbo Boost technology in the CPU and the dynamic frequency belonging to Intel HD Graphics, the system is able to increase the frequency of the processor or graphics (remember the voltage increases) to remove the processing of applications.

Explaining the concept of "budget" power (Power Budget) and the interaction of CPU and GPU. A power budget is the allocation of electrical power available within a system to fulfill specific functions.
